MEET "PETRO"

Petroglyph – [pe-truh-glif] -noun

From Greek origin, "petro" meaning rock and "glyph" meaning drawing or engraving.

Named for the crafty coyote who steals grape clusters from the vineyard, Petro represents the history of our region through his unique, simplistic styling.

While standing in the Horse Heaven Hills, Petro enjoys the scenic view from the present day site of our winery.

As descendants of Petro, coyotes still reside throughout our area. During harvest, they visit our backyard to enjoy their fill of grapes. Throughout the year, we enjoy their vibrant serenades that fill the night air.

Petro is so cute and popular, we have made him into a tattoo! While we do know Petro has been made into a real tattoo, we have a temporary option for everyone!   

If you have a Daven Lore temporary tattoo and you'd like to remove it (we don't know why you'd want to do that!), but here is how it works:

1.) Saturate tattoo with household rubbing alcohol or baby oil; wait 10 seconds, then rub away tattoo with cotton ball OR
2.) Lift tattoo from dry skin using several pieces of transparent household tape.
